Imagine It! Childrens Musuem

Today we took Collin to the Imagine It! Children's Museum in Atlanta. This is a museum for children eight and under to learn and explore in a hands-on environment. They had several cute exhibits set up for the children to explore. The "Fundamentally Food" exhibit featured a John Deere tractor and allowed the children to see how the food they eat goes from a farm to the store. The "Let Your Creativity Flow" exhibit allowed the children to paint anything their heart desired on a washable board and build sand sculptures in a huge sand table. The "Tools for Solutions" exhibit featured a giant ball machine with a crane that the children could use to move the balls all around. The "Leaping Into Learning" exhibit was set up like a forest where the children could use rods to catch colorful fish and then climb up and explore a tree house. This was Collin's favorite exhibit by far! He loved getting dressed in a raincoat and trying to catch fish. The key word is "trying" as he got very few fish but instead soaked himself. He also LOVED running around the tree house and going down the slide that was hidden it in. We probably spent an hour at this exhibit alone.

Collin also got a surprise at the Museum when Papa, Robin, and Autumn stopped by to say hello and play with him. He was so excited to see Papa and ran over to give him a hug. He proudly showed his company all of the fun things he could do and then spent a long time running from Papa and Autumn in the tree house. He had a blast and was worn out when we left!
