Collin Is One Month Old

Today Collin turned one month old. He had his second doctor's visit and got a clean bill of health. He now weighs 9 pounds, 9 ounces and is 21 and 7/8 inches long. The doctor told us he is a skinny, but long, little baby. Sounds like he is going to take after his late Great-Granddaddy Don Dunaway.

It is amazing to see how much he has grown and changed throughout this month. He is already becoming such a big boy. Collin has spent this month at home with mom and dad doing lots of fun things. Some of his favorite ways to spend the day are eating, sleeping, playing on his musical mat, swinging, bouncing in his bouncer while watching the red frog go up and down, and sitting in his boppy watching mom and dad hold up his toys. He has tummy time everyday and can now turn his head from side to side and lift it for a few seconds to look in front of him. His neck is becoming very strong. He shows us during burping when he tries to force his head back for more milk. Collin has already outgrown his bassinet! He has also had many firsts this month, some of which include his first real bath and his first playdate with his buddy Tate. He also slept four whole hours in a row last night, which Mom and Dad loved.

It is hard to explain how much joy Collin brings into our lives. Patrick and I love him so much and try to spend every minute of our day with him. We thank God everyday for allowing us to have such a cute, sweet and healthy boy! We cannot wait to see what this upcoming month has in store for us.
