Outside Fun

Collin LOVES being outside! Despite the runny nose and cough that the pollen brings he would live out there all day if it were up to him. He especially loves playing on any type of playground. He loves to climb, slide, swing, and run. Here are some pictures of Collin playing at his friend Hayes first birthday party. As always he is outside with a huge grin on his face. Such a happy little boy!

JCUMC Spring Carnival

Yesterday Patrick and I took Collin to the Spring Carnival at his preschool. He was initially hesitant about going because as soon as he saw the school parking lot he thought we were dropping him off for school. However, as soon as he noticed the giant inflatables, ponies, and miniature train he was all about having some fun. He immediately ran to the inflatables and insisted on going on the largest slide. He was the youngest one to go on it but he showed all the older kids how it was done. Guess all those visits to Monkey Joe's have paid off! He also loved the train. He rode it a total of four times and had a blast. We feel so lucky to have found a wonderful school that Collin can be a part of.

Happy Easter

Collin had a wonderful Easter weekend! Grandmommy and Granddaddy came up on Friday to spend the weekend with us. Friday night Collin had his first adventure dying eggs. We put out six cups of dye and let him drop the eggs in. He loved it! In fact, we ended up with tie dye eggs because he wanted to keep dropping them in. Lucky only a few of the eggs chipped since his dropping was more like throwing. He had a lot of fun!

On Saturday we let him hunt eggs in our yard. He had done this enough times that he knew that the plastic eggs had yummy treats in them and opened them as fast as he could to get the jellybeans out.

Sunday we got up and found a ton of goodies for Collin from the Easter Bunny. He got an alphabet puzzle, coloring book, Bob the Builder ball, Matchbox cars, and a Thomas the train to add to his collection. We then got all dressed up and went to the Easter service at our church. Collin had a great time in Waumba Land and looked absolutely precious in his seersucker pants and sweater vest. When then went to Cracker Barrel for some yummy breakfast, came home to rest, and then headed to Atlanta to meet the Dunaway side of the family for dinner at Maggiano's. All in all it was a great Easter weekend!
