Baby Collin Update

Today I went in for my weekly doctor visit. Collin is right on target and is now full term! The doctor expects him to arrive as early as a week. We cannot wait!

Big Creek Kindergarten Shower

Today we had a shower from the kindergarten team at Big Creek which was hosted by Pam. Everyone came over to see Collin's nursery. We had lots of yummy food and then opened presents. Collin got tons of outfits and a gift card to Pottery Barn Kids so mom and dad can buy him a toy box.

Baby Collin Update

Today we went in for a routine doctor's visit. According to the doctor, we can expect to have an upper 7 to 8 pound baby! He said that Collin is in the correct position but has his feet sitting to the side of my stomach, making it pop out in one direction. He said that Collin also likes to kick, as he decided to kick the doctor while he was taking my measurements:) We were also told Collin will more than likely come before his due date, arriving up to a week early. We cannot wait to meet him!

We're Ready!

This weekend we got Collin's room completely finished. It finally looks like we imagined it being! We also went shopping for a few outfits for Collin since everything we have so far was from our parents and showers. We had a lot of fun picking out little boy outfits and imagining him in them. Below are our two favorites.

Baby Collin Update

Today I went for my weekly check-up and learned Baby Collin is in the head down position and appears to be on track to make his arrival around March 15th. We cannot wait to meet him!

Loganville Shower

Today we had our second baby shower in Loganville. It was hosted by my girlfriends Crystal Waters and Katie Vaughan. The theme of the shower was trains since Collin's room is decorated with trains. All of my college girlfriends were able to come, as well as some friends from church, Patrick's mom, my mom and my sister. We played a game with yarn where each person had to cut a piece of yarn they thought would fit around my belly. Apparently I look much bigger than I really am:) We then had cake, fruit, brownies and dip; and concluded by opening all of Collin's goodies.

Birmingham Shower

Today we had our first baby shower. It was held in Birmingham at Patrick's house and was hosted by Patrick's Aunt Pris. When we woke up, it looked like it was going to be a wonderful day. However, at about 9:30 it started snowing! We still had about 18 people turn out for the shower and had a ton of fun. We played several games including drawing a picture of a baby on a paper plate on top of your head and losing your clothespin if the word "baby" was said. We then had a wonderful lunch of chicken salad sandwiches, sweet potato chips, fruit and a brownie. We concluded by opening all of Collin's gifts. Below is a picture of all the goodies he recieved.
