It's A Boy!

Today we had our big ultrasound to check and make sure everything is on track with the baby. The ultrasound technician was immediately able to see that IT'S A BOY. We were so excited! Brooke had a gut feeling it was a boy. Mommy's instinct:) His name is going to be Collin Patrick Hardy. (Patrick after his daddy)
We also found out that everything is developing normally and he appears healthy. The ultrasound technician did say that he appears to have a mind of his own as he would not cooperate with her. She had to push him all around to get the pictures she needed. After all that pushing, Brooke was able to feel the baby move for the first time when we left the office.
After the ultrasound we headed down to Pottery Barn Kids to celebrate and get Collin's bedding. His room is going to have a train theme and definitely be all boy!

We Heard A Heartbeat!

Today we had our monthly doctor visit. We were able to hear the baby's heartbeat on the doppler machine for the first time. It was 155, which the doctor said is very strong

We're Expecting

Today Patrick and I found out we are expecting! We took two pregnancy tests just to make sure it was true:) We immediately called both sets of soon-to-be grandparents to share the news. Everyone is so excited!
